Like Water to Sky
by Kathryne, tellitslant@ livejournal.com
Fandom: Doctor Who
Pairing: Romana I/Sarah Jane Smith
Rating: NC-17
Notes: Written for the lovely and patient ladyvivien as part ofromanathon. I am sorry for being so ridiculously late, m'dear, but, um, I blame you being too fabulous for me to work on the story. ;) Thanks to sakuracorr for beta and reassurrance. Huge thanks to soupytwist, who slept through the writing of half of it but gave me great comments and the lovely title. *g*
Summary: Before meeting the Doctor, Romana does some research.

At last! Delayed by RL, illness and procrastination.

The Crime of the Centuries

Written for cherryice, who requested: "Romana/Jack, alien cultures, and Ten being bamboozled." Although I fudged a certain amount on the last two...

Rated a lowly G; featuring Romana, Jack, Ten, Martha, some aliens, some Oods and a handful of humans.

Title: Ticking Clocks
For: [info]kiarasayre who wanted two other really awesome prompts that I could not get to work, and Post Time-War Romana rebuilding Gallifrey. I tried, but this is what came out
Notes: References to Shada, City of Death, Gallifrey audios. All errors are mine as the result of learning 40 odd years of canon in six months. I also apologize for being so late. Real life has been insane lately.

Title: Do I Dare Disturb the Universe
Author: Doyle
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: Romana, Mickey, Jake
Rating: G
Notes: For _bounce_ for the romanathon: request was for a conversation between Romana and Mickey and an outside agency like Torchwood observing Romana. This assumes Romana never returned from E-Space and ignores books and audio canon. Pre-Doomsday and some fanwank ahoy.
Summary: “Mickey, you can’t go inviting aliens to tea at your nan’s because you think they look a bit lonely. God help us if the invasion fleet lands when we haven’t got the milk in.”

Hey, guys -- I was holding off on posting this in the hope that more stories would come trickling in, but as we're now at three days past the deadline, I am losing faith in those who have no contacted me. If you haven't contacted me already, and you're planning on turning something in, or if you know you won't be presenting anything, please let me know.

All the stories have been great, but as you can see, we have a number still outstanding. People who have been granted extensions are noted as such. Here comes the plea for help, though -- if you could manage a pinch hit, please drop me a line. Everyone who turned in a story will get one in return, even if I have to write them all myself. (Now, I know that none of you want for that to happen -- think of the poor recipients.)

Title: Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters
For: oltha_heri who wanted either ‘City of Death’ era fluff or Time War-President Romana angst. So I gave her both.
Summary: President Romana watches Gallifrey burn and remembers Paris
Rating: PG/PG13
Notes: Title taken from the Indigo Girls song of the same name. Obscure reference to both A Tale of Two Cities and the fact that Lalla Ward is apparently an avid knitter, because I am a dork. I don’t know very much about the Time War, the High Council, the looms or even how much has been said about them in canon, so I made it all up.

Title: Treatise on the Psychological Causes, Manifestations, and Ramifications of Regeneration
Author: Kiara Sayre
Rating: PG
Summary: Romana thinks about regeneration, the Doctor thinks about trandimensional modulators, and K9 contracts laryngitis for no reason.
Notes: Written for ionlylurkhere, with the prompt "Something about why Romana chose Princess Astra's body." From there it kind of...evolved. Apologies for lateness; real life bit me in the bum...so this is also, unfortunately, unbeta'd. ^_^;;

Then Sleep the Season
by cherryice

For doyle_sb4, who wanted Romana as the last Time Lord, with Mickey as her companion. I hope that this will suffice.

The TARDIS is not her home, and she is more a stranger here than she has ever been.

Title: Propositions for Peace
Rating: G
Summary: "An encounter between Romana and the Master."
Written for: astrogirl2
A/N: I'm not usually one for trying to tidy up canon, but this seemed the obvious thing, yes.
